Breakfast was varied, generous and delicious — thank you for the light 'nuvola' brioche, a Como specialty. The room was comfortable and clean, ideal just steps from Bellagio. For those who like walking, you can reach Bellagio via the Vergolese path through the lovely village of San Giovanni (about 50 minutes), avoiding the expensive parking. Peace and quiet guaranteed. "It's best to arrive by car (or rent one): out of season the C30 bus runs only once an hour. Don't risk walking with luggage — it's 3.3 km from the port, with steep stairs by the roadside. There are no food delivery services, so book a taxi in advance. Everything here is very well organised and the service is excellent; be sure to have breakfast here."
